FHD still has his most icon songs to date (Jan 28, Wet Dreamz, Fire Squad, St Tropez, No Role Modelz, Apparently, Love Yourz) Those songs are like the essence of Cole so I get why that album is held in such high regard. But as a body of work from start to finish FHD is flawed. It’s top heavy with the majority of the most exciting moments on the first half. After St Tropez it’s super slow and tough to get through. Also “Hello” and “GOMD” aren’t BAD necessarily but the aren’t that great either and they both have cringe moments.
I still regard FHD as a classic bc of the impact and the iconic records but The Off Season is a superior body of work and his best so far imo
Always felt like FHD was overrated. It's got some true Cole gems but it's not really all that of a project. I've personally probably spun Born Sinner more.

You’re trying too hard. The outro sounds like he directly interpolates the melody from Middle Child. Not a bad thing at all but it’s the weakest track on the album personally
