I mean Cole not special in that regard. Every fanbase has toxic fans. Coles don't even begin to touch Nicki, Eminem, or Drake fans.

I will say the platinum with no feature meme was never funny though and I hope this next album kills it once and for all.

How exactly does Cole stand out in this climate when there are many other rappers making very militant and pro-black empowerment music? We got cats like Pink Siifu, $ilkmoney, Earl Sweatshirt, Vince Staples, Lupe Fiasco, Deniro Farrar, Mavi, Tha God Fahim, Jay Electronica, Big KRIT, Flatbush Zombies, Joey Badass, Kendrick Lamar, Denzel Curry, Mach Hommy...shit niggas like Common and Nas pretty much based the majority of their careers on pro-black themes and empowerment and showed all these black artists you can make a career and still celebrate your blackness and be militant about it if you want.

In what ways is Cole standing out? It's because of artists like I mentioned who been making that kinda music for years that you will find people who think J Cole is mediocre in comparison.

Unfortunately, most of the niggas you mentioning aren't making catchy music and most of the niggas aren't as relatable as Cole. It's a reason their not as poppin. You honestly don't get the appeal??? If not, you lost out here in the world

All my years on here and the old site I've seen way more Cole hate and a lot of it is just dudes playing follow the leader
