Imo these tracks are where Cole shines the most, he is a phenomenal storyteller & manages to make ppl feel something. Love or hate him, his genuine personality & in his music is what got him where he’s at even when he’s wrong

Even this new track is great not solely cause of his pen but of his storytelling ability

Maturity is leaving that s*** alone period. It's not the first time Cole put his foot in his mouth. He handled the noname s*** poorly because he didn't like "her tone" or whatever. S*** probably hard when you a teenager or early 20s tryna fit in. But again, this a grown ass man, with his own mind who you would think has learned from previous situations involving peer pressure, based on the s*** he himself has been saying in his music for years.

Simply put, man tried half stepping into the ring when he really didn't even have to. The track was mid, and he saw the response it was getting. And very quickly folded.
