Sometimes it feels like Cole was prolly the only one among the "big three" fanning the flame of the "big three" talk, outside the fans

Drake stans been preaching that ever since like that dropped

From the outside looking in, it did seem that way but I'm not gonna comment on their closeness. All I'm gonna say is, when push came to shove, both Kendrick and Drake understood the assignment. Yeah, they had genuine pent up animosity, but if Cole could see where the s*** was going, why even Stoke the fire for a three-way battle with 7 Min drill?

I feel like he explained why he did 7 min and why he regrets it already. He slipped up let himself get peer pressured into it, while millions were speculating on his move in one of the biggest rap beefs ever

The scrutiny is what comes with being at that level. I can empathize with Cole realizing he ain’t really built for it but then I look at Kendrick and Drake who actually competed and it just makes him look bad in comparison. You think this whole ordeal was easy on their mental health?

hell no thats literally what i said in my statement LMAO.

everyone was saying cole was right to bow out when kendrick dropped MTG and NLU, he shouldve just moved on to the Fall Off tbh

I genuinely don't understand how that's supposed to be looked at as maturity

Especially when he keeps doing it lol the nigga literally never learns or grows from it. But supposedly it's "maturity"? Do these people even know what that s*** means?

Early in the beef thread I said he shouldn't release a record knowing how Cole views both Drake and Dot

All this killing s***, it's just rap. At least for Cole, but it's very obvious it wasn't just rap between Drake and Kendrick. If it were to stay competitive instead of personal I think it would've sat better with Cole

    I don't let mistakes define a man

And you know what's funny? People looked at his decision to sit this one out more favorably than before after MTG and NLU, even though that drill joint was still questionable, but the vibe was that Cole prolly didn't need to be involved, which makes the quasi-chest puffing on the new song even more baffling

Why are we acting like Cole is new to the "peer pressure"? I'm sure niggas been in his ear since Control. A large part of 2014 FHD was made as a response to that. That's 10+ years of "peer pressure" he should have a tolerance to. None of this big 3 competition talk was new to Cole when like that came out

In an alternate universe I wanna see how Cole moves if 7 Min drill is praised/lauded when it comes out , if he bows out or not

We able to acknowledge repeat corny behavior and call it out, but we're wrong for it and we're just haters...aight man lmao

Like it's perfectly fine to like the dude and appreciate the music, but he's not above critique, and neither is Kendrick. That's all this is

He walked back false prophets and said it could've been everybody, and that s*** was obvious who he was talking about. With this joint that's prolly more direct, it would be interesting if he'd hit the stage and do what he did.

But yeah, he really does have a habit of not standing on s***.

When noname pressed him he was like "I don't even read like that deadass"

When he got pressed about him dissing the XXL freshman class rappers, he said it himself "I was being a hater."

I don't see it as quasi-chest puffing because he already said he uses gun bars because everybody else does and they lying

Cole has definitely done more harm than good entering in that arena, but I commend him for not fixing a f*** up but taking ownership of the what's and the why's

I don't doubt Cole was already solidified as third in the big 3 in everyone's mind, mine too, but that beef really ain't have nothing to do with crodie

The extent of what was said about Cole on like that was equal to what Kendrick did on control. Most of the malicious intent was towards drake and Cole still jumped out first like that wasn't the case
