ITāS ONLY LIKE A HANDFUL OF MUSICIANS THAT CAN PULL OFF DOUBLE DISCS (and like 1 or 2 of em are rappers, shoutout to my nigga KRIT. The whole artform of lyrics coming at you just inevitably will eat at you over a runtime of almost 2 hours. Vince pulled it off cause lot of summertime tracks was short)
KRIT raised the bar so high when he dropped 4eva is a mighty long time, will forever be the gold standard for double albums for me.
I lowkey think its better than AEOM and LAD
you know we're all old you guys are struggling to be awake past midnight omg
There is something to be said that albums like this woulda benefited HEAVILY from the Tyler method of dropping in the morning tho.
Everything doesnt need to drop on midnight.

MAN
yes
Jcole is good at storytelling but his stories arenāt good.
A good story has highs and lows, tragedy, triumphs and all other emotions evoking elements.
He has the best concepts in the game, is the best at rapping skill wise but lacks the passion because of his bland story.
SAFETY - is such a good concept but fails to be great like a STAN was because the story doesnāt lend for any climaxes.
THE LET OUT - Again a great concept and perfectly set up with DRUM AND BASS but again falls flat. Because of weird musical choices but also a story with no real climax.
This isnāt bad tho off first listen.
Of course not. Iām old fashioned so I prefer albums I can revisit without them feeling like a chore
yo im glad im not the only person who thought that "BITCH" adlib on who tf iz u was kendrick
bait of hell
Wouldnt be a cole album without him singing a hook from the 90s! Twice!
Man Up Above is top 3 on the whole album so far
RT
He's at his best when he's rapping-rapping.
This melodic s*** ain't it (imo)
Album could've been his best if he cut down the tracklist.
Wouldnt be a cole album without him singing a hook from the 90s! Twice!
3 times!
Fantastic album for me but my only gripe is how long it is and run a train
I like almost every song but with how long they are and how many tracks, itās really long , which i guess i understand if itās his final album
hell nah this sht clears gnx by 100 miles
Run A Train/Poor Thang the closest this albumās came to giving me the feeling reincarnated gave me
i chopped this down to 14 songs
unanimous classic now
Nah pleighboi gotta listen to that s*** in full
Nah pleighboi gotta listen to that s*** in full
im anti-double albums UNLESS its executed how Future did FUTURE/HNDRXX, which was a brilliant design
Cole keeps getting s*** on for preaching the same message which is that this rap s*** and violence is pointless
People keep exposing how lame they are for thinking heās corny for sticking to that message over and over
Dont think ppl saying heās corny for it as much as they are saying his writing style makes the way he does falter.
This album is the best heās been at addressing it. 1st verse of Bunce Road Blues might be one of my fav verses of his.
