this is a dope album. the hype was a lil too much for it and I think j. cole made this as a personal/ville classic rather than something everyone in hip hop would label a classic

I tried telling people here that there didn’t seem to be much hype going into this album. The rollout strategy felt odd. It’s a decent album though so I’d assume that its stream #s won’t nosedive too much, but we’ll see.
