I get it's future on run a train but my brain hears cole doing that voice he does on s*** like GOMD, i wonder if he did the original reference and had future sing it. and if it's an old future hook cus i haven't heard him sound like that in forever

I thought this was corny first time ive heard but this aged like fine wine damn

Dont know how i feel about the let out

some of the guitar I've heard on disc 1 is extremely unseasoned

I'm no guitar tone scholar by any means, but a lot of the non-sampled sounding guitar stuff on disc 1 sounds like some montell fish bedroom pop esque tones
minor gripe but it stuck out to me

I legit couldnt tell if it was future or him doing a pitched down voice until future did that talking s*** at the end lmao

Yeah you would think he would be one of the guys to do it. Even if he didn't feel like it would be appropriate for this album he could have put it in the lil blizzard tape. Feels like It's the same stories of cole, just perfected each time

Loved the first listen but wow this really is getting better from each spin. Love letter to hiphop. SAFETY really grew to one of the best songs on here. Mixing that old school with a modern twist

Idk the album means a lot to me personally because it’s kinda talking about when you stop loving something that you identify so strongly with

he’ll be back. I think he just desperately needs a break and a reminder that he’s still strongly loved by the Day 1s

Cole more than likely did the reference, had Future perform it, then layered their vocals on top of each other to give that effect where it sounds in between both of them but it’s meant to be Future

Runnin with fruity types, d*** in the booty types

so ultimately I do think this is his best album hes made but I still think it falls short of being a classic
