I'm far from a Cole stan but the fact that he was able to go plat without being carried by feats and go on actual arena tours that sold out even with his "trash" albums like 4YEO and KOD is really impressive.

I don't think him having no features should factor in. Some artists are just more collaborative in nature. Travis and Kanye for instance basically use their collaborators as instruments. Also furthering the idea of having no features as a flex and an ego thing is a) toxic af and b) bad for music.
