    Trae is lowkey underrated

Mans is elite already idk if Ja EVER becomes as good as him

Trae is in that zone that Isaiah Thomas was in a couple years ago

Great offensively but there’s genuinely not a single player in the NBA he can guard well

I wouldn’t feel comfortable having to rely on Trae Young to guard MKG

Ja for rookie of the year tbh

it's 29, and also a horrible volume shooter at 43%...and someone itt said he's a god tier passer? cause of 9apg?

43% isn't too bad considering his high volume 3s.
Also his eFG% is like 52 which is solid especially for his size.
Also he has very good passing, regardless of what the assist numbers say he's very good at finding lanes, being patient with the pass and creating opportunities.

Thats why we got 2 DPOY candidates next to him in Reddish and Hunter

Ain’t huerter kinda locked in as a starter? I don’t watch the hawks enough

And we’ll see on those two, both seem nice but I wouldn’t want either as the primary defender on an elite PG. feel like hawks next need is an elite defensive SG that can cover for Trae, build the team similar to the Celtics with IT/Bradley/Smart/Jae and hope capela can anchor it

Id like Huerter to be an off the bench scorer unless he can improve his defense a lot.

Were in a tough spot because we have 3 young guys that could start at the 2 or 3 who all need playing time so that they can improve. Reddish was a PG in high school we used him there a few times and he even started one game as the PG when Trae was out

I don’t mean offensively, Reddish was highly touted I could see him being an effective point forward

But you’ll never have a successful team if Trae doesn’t have the luxury of guarding the worst opposing player. Which means very often you need someone to guard the opposing PG. Can Reddish guard guys like Kemba/Lowry/Kyrie in the east consistently. I’m not convinced of that

29.6 we round up around these parts lmao and you’re right a lot of assists doesn’t mean you’re a god tier passer but at least he’s willing to try to make the right plays. 43% shooting is something to s*** on tho. But we gotta s*** on Harden/Westbrook types too in that case for being chuckers. I’ll wait til year 4-5 to be more critical of him.

  • Only hypebeasts and haters pick Ja over Trae. Just cause he can dunk hes good huh
