You can say it could’ve credited to 50s downfall as well, he let this victory go to his head and started to have beef with everybody thinking it would end in the same result.
50 downfall was beefing with everybody and having label problems (people love to act like this never happened) if 50 wanted to still be on top he would’ve been on top but he started doing other ventures and didn’t care for music anymore
You cant compare ja to 50, fif was doing bigger names… had a bigger label and made BETTER music and his run lasted longer

50's downfall comes from 3 things primarily:
1. Game beef
Game beefed with 50 while he was the new hot artist on the label while 50 dropped an album that was solid but was sorta coasting off of GRODT. Once Game went ham against 50 in the beef and had a whole campaign for it and 50 didn't do much except drop that "ehh" response on the video game, it hurt 50's invincible career killer image. And that was one of his selling points aside from the music. Then, when Game dropped DA which was damn near as good as his debut and got features from half the industry, hardcore rap fans increasingly sided with Game in the beef, leaving 50 to fall back on casuals/mainstream rap fans for relevance.
2. Ye Sales Battle
50 threatened to retire after Curtis and Curtis is 50's 2nd worst album after AA. Once Ye outsold him and started becoming rap's biggest tastemaker along with Wayne, 50's whole "gangsta" style with the durags, chains, baggy pants, piano/Scott Storch/"Detox" beats seemed outdated to the general public. And 50, at this time, was reliant on the casuals for relevance due to the Game/LOX/Nas beef as I mentioned earlier which is why he did that Ayo Technology song. When Kanye started making better mainstream hip hop, casuals switched sides.
3. Trying to remain Suge Knight 2.0
Instead of trying to update or make his sound more contemporary, 50 doubled down on his formula and his attempts to switch it up(Baby By Me, My Life, New Day) were very hit or miss. Even more, 50 continued beefing with a whole bunch of hot artists or tried to bait them like Wayne, Ross, French, Meek, etc. And he even beefed with Jimmy Iovine and Interscope which was the nail in the coffin. 50 was trying to be like Suge with the petty beefs and trying to be a tough boss but the rap world moved on from the Death Row mentality so it did him no favors.
Those 3 factors lead to 50's downfall. But, interestingly enough, BISD and many of his mixtape songs and loosies after his dowfall are pretty decent.
