I realized this when Tyler Herro came out in 2020 but never made a thread so here you go
Drake about to pass the torch to him soon, he just came to his concert last night & invited him to his crib today
If Jack gets a drake feat , it’s over
He’s already 23rd most listened to artist in the world on Spotify (Kanye is 24th, for reference)
Cordova is already the next Drake.
Doubt it. He doesn't have a leader in him, nor does he want all that drama
He'll be one of the most popular rappers for a while tho
He’s one of the only new generation artists that is known almost purely for his music. No gimmicks, no scandals, just bars

jack harlow, real name no gimmicks
How many projects does he even have?
Like 6-8 mixtapes out. Only 1 in the mainstream from 2020

quite literally the opposite. Nobody knows his music besides like 2-3 songs
I don’t anyone will be the next Drake. He is who he is.
If Harlows next album is good though, he’ll be here to stay.
Tough to say, I'm predicting him to have 2012 Macklemore type year soon tho.
But his next album will tell us more. First one was way too Diet Drake, too much imitation.

He's a cool current artist for sure, but I just don't see him making anything that's impactful or meaningful in the slightest let alone maintaining relevance at a high level for over a decade.
Can definitely see him being an actor tho.

Jack already addressed this on his song Baxter Avenue
“ Always wondered to myself if I could really be the leader
Of a group of brown-skinned boys when I'm not brown-skinned
Certain things they grew up on that they get but I don't get
Differences in how we raised make me feel like I don't fit
Not to mention the distance between our parents' houses
Shared some money with 'em so they know I care about 'em
I'm tryna do it right and figure what a fair amount is”
Funny thing is, his entire team around him other than his photographer are all black people. And Jack has already brought his team this far, and has been releasing music since like 2016 so I think he knows what he’s doing in that department
I said this first and was laughed at. Writing been on the wall and drake having him over shows it
