yall missing the point, its not that a sign company has connections in the music industry, it's that he came from business owners and more than likely was wealthy enough to support his music career
dont care for the guy, js
same could be said for rev runs sons as i mentioned in my post, except they didn’t blow up. and that family probably has 100x the money
it’s not all about money and connections. having a sign company doesn’t mean you are rich anyway, probably middle class lol
Allegedly they bring in millions in revenue and they did free advertising for him starting out. It's a franchise in a major corporation. They might not be connected to the industry, but he and the money and probably the marketing push early on.

If you were in his position you would’ve told your parents na bruh f*** that I’m getting it out the MUD

Yeah but he probably didn't. People who work in signs could know PR firms, marketing firms, etc. I'm not saying he's automatically a plant, but the likely nepotism and white privilege playing major roles in his career don't sit well with me.
you can’t blame someone for smart marketing, because everybody markets but most don’t take the time to target specific demographics in creative ways. you can see both the work he put in rapping and the clever use of attaching his name to different parts of social media. the whole push to consider him a ladies man is definitely a part of that
I hate when y’all do this. Just stfu man. He worked hard and now he’s poppin stop trying to discredit him and get a f***ing job

so it’s not even their OWN company it’s just a franchise?
of course the COMPANY they essentially work for brought in millions, if they franchise out
what free advertising? flyers for his shows he had to perform at anyway?

yeah you are prob right. where im from youre not necessarily wealthy even if youre a business owner. its kinda pointless to judge ppl by that logic until it becomes 'problematic' anyhow. nevertheless I wanted to point that out

Chance the Rapper thanked his daddy on Acid Rap. Tape was fire.
Macklemore was humble and got clowned. We’re off that

I don't hate or envy the kid himself, but I think it's pretty disingenuous when people say he got to where he is solely through hard work or charisma. He did put in work, but he probably benefited a ton from connections.
Attention is a commodity and in my opinion he's taking attention away, through underhanded competition, from kids who are really trying to rap because they didn't have other options. Also the racial fetishizing in his marketing makes me uncomfortable
Y'all have thoughts on this? These are just my opinions.
This is the entertainment business. A huge part of it is how well you're able to interact. Yes we all have different networks. I dont see this much different than knowing the right people in the streets

I'm happy with where I'm at personally but I don't like the narrative around him. I don't have an issue with the kid himself.

Can you point to that narrative? Who’s saying Jack Harlow came from the bottom? Drake said that and he was a literal child actor. Again, song was fire
@op learns you need a considerable amount of money to back yourself up in order to blow up in the music industry.
I wonder how my nigga gon react when he learns the sun rises in the morning
did you look at the site? highly doubt this company has any sway in the music industry, although I’m sure his parents did fine for themselves.
it’s like a local sign company
how come all these artists have parents with blue links on wiki
Because indie aint really indie no more lol.
