Can you point to that narrative? Who’s saying Jack Harlow came from the bottom? Drake said that and he was a literal child actor. Again, song was fire
Some people want to act like his success isn't closely tied to his privilege.
I'm happy with where I'm at personally but I don't like the narrative around him. I don't have an issue with the kid himself.
Well good thing you’re not him the narrative shouldn’t concern you. He worked hard for years and finally blew up. Well deserved
Yall really hate to see one of your own win. This dude been posting the N-word on KTT since like 2015 and this is the love you show him

I don't hate or envy the kid himself, but I think it's pretty disingenuous when people say he got to where he is solely through hard work or charisma. He did put in work, but he probably benefited a ton from connections.
Attention is a commodity and in my opinion he's taking attention away, through underhanded competition, from kids who are really trying to rap because they didn't have other options. Also the racial fetishizing in his marketing makes me uncomfortable
Y'all have thoughts on this? These are just my opinions.
explain what’s underhanded about it
diddy and rev run’s sons did nothing in music and that’s as good of a connection as you could have. maybe jack had some help but nobody does this s*** alone everybody got somebody

Did you make up someone in your head to argue with?
explain what’s underhanded about it
Free advertising, money probably played a role in features, getting connected to people like CyHi when he was unknown, etc.

Nah I'm not mad, this is part of some bigger issues in the culture and I was looking to see where people stand on it.

do you rap? i can blow you up if that’s what this is about

You know other rappers do this too right?

I get high and freestyle with friends sometimes but I never want to be famous. I like having a low key existence.
do you rap? i can blow you up if that’s what this is about
I don't rap, but I'd love for you to blow me. Follow back and we'll arrange something via PM
You know other rappers do this too right?
I think bro is just learning how this all works lmao
You know other rappers do this too right?
Yeah I know. It's not limited to him.
I'ma get on with my day, can't keep replying to all the mentions, just going to clear something up real quick.
I don't hate Jack and if people want to like him, that's cool. This is just some s*** I heard about and I don't like it when people act like people who aren't self-made, are self-made. It's about an overall myth and he just happens to be an example of it.
