Ty's verse simply didn't mesh well with Drake's parts of the song, lyrically or thematically. Not surprised it was cut. It sounds out of place on the song and would have ruined it.

I think Drake does that a lot with his features. He asks rappers or singers to send stuff in, and he/noel/40 etc. arrange the vocals as they see fit
