0. Its new AK
happy it’s AK tbh, been literally YEARS since the classic that is Landcruisin (besides the few loosies)
nah neither tbh
I still dont quite understand what the purpose of PI is yet if im being honest
im happy w just a song
but if we get anything more - member album announcement, comp album, concert etc im stoked
a PI Album would be absolutely nuts
I really want jai to just say if hes making music rn
like im not expecting anything anytime soon but I just wanna know hes enjoying it and making stuff again so I can have hope for more music from him one day
of course he is bro
dude is probably always making stuff
feel like it has to be more than a couple songs if they're doing a full on announcement for it
There has to be a happy ending to the Jai Paul story, I wholeheartedly believe that
What if they announce a AK album?
With a full HQ version of Be Honest & Watchin U
Or even better, a new Jai record
feel like it has to be more than a couple songs if they're doing a full on announcement for it
I'll be ok with just a single
anything more than 1 single is bonus to me
Imagine how legendary this would be if they did a drop a week like ye did with the wyoming sessions, ending with jai

I like to believe one day whenever he's ready, he'll deliver the magnum opus we all know he's capable of making. We'll only get it when everything comes together in his timing, and when it's perfect and exactly how he envisioned it to be. Then he'll ride off in the sunset on top and focus on the Institute and shaping up the future of music.
I remember hearing Mystery the first time
and seeing the Jai co-prod
such a great track
Personally think that's the best Paul Institute track outside of Jai's releases. That outro is soo godly

when those firework type drums come in
I really hope this is the moment the brothers switch it up. I want to hear some futuristic sounds on this, I know they can set the pop/electronic blueprint once again for the 20’s like they did with Bait Ones & 10’s.
I loved the 80’s sound they ventured into but with like 8-10 released under their belt with that sound, I want to hear their take on the future of music.
What sound on Bait Ones would you like to see them dive more into?
when those firework type drums come in
& you hear Jai croonin in the background, why won't you call me noooooww

Would love for them further that lush electronica sound heard on Genevieve or those pulsating bass rhythms on Jasmine. The entire sequencing of the production from the glitches, rapid drums and kicks, random lasers and samples make it timeless.
Of course I don't expect them to copy-paste these formulas into their current music but I feel like Jai left that sound with unfinished business, there's so much more there to explore and provide and I'm certain he can push the foundation he built even further.
Even tracks like All Night, one of his more minimal productions has this magical vibe around it, like it's floating in your earbuds or sound system.
I absolutely love DYLHN & He but I really wanna see what their take on 2020 music is because we've seen them channel D'Angelo, Prince and Phil Colins a lot with these PI releases.

I got chills the first time hearing that part and realizing it was him, seriously thought we'd never hear from him again

I had lost hope until I read how enamored they were with what D'Angelo did with Black Messiah - take that long and master his craft. It was then that I really learned that these guys aren't in the industry to make a quick buck or two, they're here to make the best art possible and leave a lasting legacy. If we ever hear that album it'll definitely be worth the wait.
somebody on reddit said there's song titles hidden throughout the website. anyone else find these?
