Pussies
I’m unsure what your first two paragraphs mean as a response to him
Literally attacking an appendage of the state apparatus is obviously a bigger f***ing deal and more of a threat than attacking random business the state ultimately doesn’t give as many f***s about
so what’s the point
They've already walked back on this statement
Watching this is pretty entertaining ngl. These people ruined their lives for this s*** and Trump is just chilling on a golf course rn lmao

Ehh more like the midterms in a few months, though even that is a stretch. Nothing happening now will have any salience in late 2024

The hearings won’t make any criminal proceedings as of now so fundamentally nothing will change

He's not going to run again tho. He doesn't stand to gain anything for serving a 2nd term. He got the most out of the presidency already.
This the type of content I like to see. All smoking gun and no old info that people already pretty much know.

Document given to Enrique Tarro with plans to occupy DC buildings
if im going to be real, the amount of attention lavished on the capitol riot itself is honestly a distraction from the much more important part (in the sense of the actual potential it had to steer the ship of state) which is the protracted legal effort to overturn the results of the election culminating in the theory that Pence could block certification of the election
unarmed boomers taking physical possession of the capitol building would not actually lead to the Trumpenreich, but the various illegal schemes by Trump's lawyers, red state Attorneys General, and assorted conservative hangers-on really could have, at least structurally, worked, especially if the supreme court was as venal as some feared they would be
Does this dude not realize they will gladly let him speak his side
that woman is hella pissed off, she's a ride or die
so what’s the point
lmao dems self pleasure once again
My god this Trump guy
“Such LIES & MISREPRESENTATION by the Unselects, and absolutely nobody allowed to challenge what is being said”, Mr Trump posted. “As an example, I never asked V.P. Pence to ‘overturn’ the election (although Thomas Jefferson ‘took’ the Georgia votes), but that he send the votes back to the Legislatures so that they could determine if the irregularities and Fraud were as widespread and signficant as they seemed.”
"And if the Vice President had ‘absolutely no right’ to change the Presidential Election results in the Senate, despite fraud and many other irregularities, how come the Democrats and RINO Republicans, like Wacky Susan Collins, are desperately trying to pass legislation that will not allow the Vice President to change the results of the election?
Actually, what they are saying, is that Mike Pence did have the right to change the outcome, and they now want to take that right away. Unfortunately, he didn’t exercise that power, he could have overturned the Election!"

The fact that we couldn’t get just 17 Republicans to make sure this guy will never be President again is insane
so what’s the point
They just in there talking to talk huh

i dont agree with trump's interpretation of Pence's "right to change the outcome" but it does seem somewhat absurd that Congress can just pass a bill as opposed to an amendment to clarify what the Constitution says about the Electoral College when it was necessary to ratify the Twelfth Amendment to change Article II, Section 1, Clause 3 in 1804
but no more absurd than the Supreme Court giving itself the power of judicial review i guess
