love janelle but judging by the singles I think this is definitely going to be her weakest album
hoping for some gems though

"It’s a remarkably cohesive record, its 14 tracks blending in so seamlessly one another that it’s often hard to tell where one ends and the other begins.
he Age of Pleasure is designed to be played in full ... I’m looking at a thousand versions of myself, and they’re all fine as f***,” Monáe sings on the album’s stellar fourth track, titled “Phenomenal.”
Constructed around Afrofuturism, Afrobeats, reggae, and other songs from the African musical diaspora, the record is remarkably inviting. It’s a joyful listen, even more so considering the fact that it’s being released during Pride Month."

Zane Lowe probably gives the best top, no cap
This dropping early in NZ time or worldwide at Hip Hop time?

Looks in line to be another mediocre release from her
praying this is is good
I'm doubtful that I'll be able to connect with it much but similar to Dirty Computer I just want a few really great songs to go back to
Electric Lady always gonna be my favorite of hers and idk if she'll be able to top that for me...she tackled so many styles there and the production was incredible...one of my favorite first listens of an album ever
classic mistake judging an album by singles
you might be right. theyre just unbelievably weak compared to her other leading singles for albums, but I do hope they turn out to be the worst on the album at least
Damn didn’t expect the thread to be dead like this
it's well produced...
