They rationalize border closures with "we can't afford to let people in or they'll spread corona", but turn around and prepare to welcome 70k~ athletes/staff, without quarantine, ect.

We have the resources necessary for mass production and distribution of the best vaccines available free of charge to the general public. Plus our society is generally pro vax to begin with

I'm glad to hear foreigners view it this way from the inside too. Some people just look at the numbers and wave off any criticism lol.

i know some other foreigners in other cities saying that announcements about covid are only being made in english + other languages.
the whole “don’t eat with foreigners” fiasco recently.
