All battling for dominance of American Rap on all sides of the country with each side containing an Artist on legendary degrees of levels. All are dropping albums fairly frequent to keep up their momentum too, because any slip could lose the war to the other side.

From 09 to 2018 this is the face of the sides & the competition is fierce as it ever was. No one has seen the game this healthy, equal & competitive in a 3 way tie since the 90s of 2Pac, Biggie & Outkast.

The 2010s is even more legendary, & East Coast has a true champion that everyone in NY can agree on.

Edit 2: Jay Electronica moved to NY, his influences are East, his label is East, his marketing push was by East & his style is undeniably NY. He is an East Rapper to me. Just like 2Pac is born in NY, but came up thru CA and Raps like CA, or Slick Rick is from Britain, but Raps like NY n lives in NY minus the accent. All are cosidered West n East Rappers as well.
