hov stops being magic to you once you get his whole schtick. he seems to buy so much into the role he's playing and sells it directly from that place. i think that's why he was so believable as the street thug. not saying that he wasn't, i don't doubt he was really about that life but you'd have never thought that this whole image of the street guy was actually just a plan of a guy targeting world domination (in his musical/stardom context).
