Jay-z doesn't have a billion in the bank. He's worth that because of his assets and companies that he has a stake in.
If you're saying no one should be a billionaire, then you're saying companies shouldn't be worth billions of dollars. If you go that route and cap companies at a billion dollars, then they will not be able to grow. If they don't grow, then they eventually go bankrupt since alot of them are filled with debt.
Also billions are spent every year fighting starvation by the UN. People are still starving.
You can't stop starvation simply by throwing money at it. it's more complicated than that.

if we're talking about monopolies, then I agree with you. Google has become too big but that doesn't mean they exploited anyone on their way to becoming billionaires.
That's the govt job to create laws so things dont get too control and they're doing that right now.

In exchange for Google having access certain users information, you get better search results and better advertising tailored to you.
Google has a terms of service about this.
Now if they do something like crazy with that data like Facebook did, then they need to be held accountable.
it's about checks and balances.
If someone has a problem with your data being used, people have options on getting a search engine that doesn't use their data.

The software engineers who helped Google become what it is got rewarded through equity and are multi millionaires and got promoted to senior positions and the current engineers who are working on Google right now are paid very well (267k - 1 million) .So please don't use the "poor pay; they're gettin exploited" argument.
