I know the debate whether J.Cole has a classic rages on to this day but in YOUR opinion what type of music/style would he have to produce over an album for you to say he undeniably has a "classic"
Or to you has he found a pocket on a song/album that you think if he takes that direction it will help musically?
FHD is a personal classic to me. Just a really great album.
I'm a big Cole fan but I still don't think he has a classic album. FHD's impact was so big and still is to this day so a lot of people say that one.
I personally think the rapping J cole did on KOD and ROTD3 and his feature run showed how much better he has gotten in 5 years....J Cole hasn't made his best album yet
FHD is a personal classic to me. Just a really great album.
it's a certified classic among almost everyone, ktt just hates him for some reason
FNL and FHD are classics
we could maybe say FNL or FHD is a classic... but idk about that. FHD lacks staying power, influence, and quite honestly, quality to be considered a classic. it might be considered down the road because of J Cole's relevance though. FNL has a greater case tbh
FHD is a classic and is regarded as such irl
But this edgy, contrarian site will tell u it’s not
FHD is going down as a classic regardless of how you personally feel about it
FNL and The Warm Up are classic mixtapes. That gives him a total of 3 classics
I honestly think FHD is fantastic album quality wise. Only Cole album where I can play the whole album through with no problem.
FHD got too many duds to be considered a classic
Which tracks you consider duds?
