goddamn this second disc is super smooth

already one of his best albums imo

It's good but for me I got tired by the time the second disc rolled around. I'd say the second disc is definitely more consistent than the first but even as a pretty big Jeezy fan it felt like a chore to get through. Features here and there probably would've helped.

I recently went through his whole discog on AM a few months back so I’ll end up listening to this when it releases in the US

Yeah its really good. I did listen to the second disc an hour or so after the first, straight listening to both discs is a little much for me. The second disc is very consistent, on a lot of personal mature s*** too. Loved it.

Jeezy is one of those rappers that are very good like Ross but 95% of his songs sound the same

that's how i feel about rappers that came up in the 90's or 2000's and still make music now. it's rare for them to drop something solid without their songs sounding the same or without it feeling like a chore

Justice league fell the f*** off. Did they lose a member or something?

This is one of those Jeezy albums when he gets on some 80's Miami Vice type sound.

I haven't heard this album yet with their production,

but somewhere along the lines they tried to recreate their sound but man they were killing it in 2011-2015, you expected some live sounding sounds, and smooth band like transitions on a rap beat. They should have kept their signature sound and it would still sound great today.

You knew when it was Justice League production without even hearing for their tag back then

Sounds literally like 2000s Jeezy. Hope the album mantains that quality because if it does, it might surpass the one last year

Happy that Jeezy rebounded a lil bit. I remember listening to Trap Or Die 3 back in the day and feeling underwhelmed
