His apathy is not endearing, imo. Without seeming childish, the best way I can word it is that he essentially got famous for being a mean kid. He grew up, rebranded as flowers and smiles, but maintains his mean spirit just spews it outward in a different way.
Tyler is the white woman who became a nurse after highschool. Stay woke
“Hahahaha you stupid b****” is a great reaction lmao
I feel like it’d be a great reaction if right after he said that he also said something serious
Bruh this s*** is so p**** I’m sorry. Pray Jerrod heals from all his traumas cause man they making money off of it
Kanye is the worst comparison to use when trying to argue that somebody isn't an a****** lol
Kanye, for a handful of reasons, is sincerely manic, emotionally unstable and bipolar. But his ego actually lends itself to moments of sincerity — he’s confident enough to be vulnerable.
Im not arguing Tyler is insecure — the opposite. Tyler is, to simplify it, just saner than Kanye. He isn’t manic, he isn’t bipolar, he would never impulsively start rambling about p*** addiction or compare himself to Bill Cosby.
Tyler is meticulous, calculated, and level headed, even if presents himself as wacky goofy. People refer to Flower Boy as a ‘turn’ but if you look back — on Golf, his numerous tv shows, media empire ambitions, to name only a few — it becomes obvious he wanted to be a star for his entire career and it just happened that pastel, alt rnb art rap was the way to get their.
The ‘turn’ that Flower Boy represents actually isn’t entirely about aesthetics or music. It’s attitude. Flower Boy, more than any other album of his, but especially distinct from WOLF and CHERRY BOMB, is cynical.
Beyond Tyler though it was an absolute vibe shift that came to, for better or for worse, represent an entire moment. In my opinion it’s just so lame compared to Wolf.
Hahahahahahahaha How The F*** Are Feelings Real Hahahahaha Nigga Just Walk Away From The Person Like Nigga Ignore Your Feelings Haha
I think Jerrod was weird for doing this in such a public way, he got a pretty obvious rejection, Tyler doesn't seem to be an emotionally mature guy, but that definitely wasn't a 'yes', I don't see the point of getting him in a room with cameras to try and relitigate it
This is weird why is this on the internet
Is it a skit?

Basically, for a while Jerrod has had a part of his set talking about falling in love with his best friend, confessing his feelings to him over text, then turning his phone off and going straight to therapy, he turns his phone back on and his friend sends a 6-second voicenote laughing at him, and they never bring it up again
Turns out, that friend was Tyler the Creator, and in Jerrod's new reality show where he looks into the relationships in his life, he's gotten Tyler on to look deeper into that interaction and, Jerrod hopes, provide a more clarifying response than laughter and an insult

i know, like why are some people freaking out bro lol
