Absolutely great album. But not better than TCD, LR, Grad, 808s, MBDTF, Yeezus and Donda.
Ye fans saying that JIK "isn't bad" sound like Drake fans saying CLB "isn't bad"
This is true..it’s like “love is blind.” When you like an artist so much sometimes anything they do is good to you, while the more objective audience sees it as mediocre
It’s not bad. Some really good tracks like Follow God, On God, God Is… but in Kanye standards it’s his one not GREAT album. It’s just good. 6/10. Above average forsure
I also think the fact that it went all clean after we heard many of the songs done differently really ruined the album. Donda going all clean and still being amazing is a major testament to how good it is in comparison to JIK imo
Everything we need IS TRASH
I totally disagree but everyone’s entitled to their opinion I suppose
Donda blows JIK out of the water but JIK isn’t bad by any means
Honestly I keep saying this but I feel like donda is the first album we’ve gotten in a long time from Ye that we can properly compare to his first 7 solo albums. Ye and JIK Just felt too undercooked

both albums aren't as bad as people like to over exaggerate on the internet
This needs to stop.

I straight up tell people, my opinion on Ye is biased by love, cause I like most of this project.
I mean, Closed On Sunday is corny in a bad way.
But it’s not like it’s filled with New Body tier songs.
That, to me, would be a real failure.
Just pure, generic, sell-out music.
Ye has yet to do that.
Hands On is a modern day Ye classic
facts, no fiction. best song on album next to on god
