this s*** feel like i’m in a jail with more privileges

lotta fake gang bangers are in here. some i don’t doubt was in the streets but half are fakes.

    Daily Routine-

CPP (in a classroom wasting time) the first two weeks, Academics, eat throughout the day, chillin at the rec with your “oreos”. 😂 they call your orientation buddies that. then after academics you make it to trade training.

No job corp is not like Holes. Maybe for the kids in the military training part but not for where i am.

You have a lot of freedom, but curfew is at 10 on weekdays and weekends are 11. We got cable, computers and you can have your own tv or gaming console whatever! You can really have fun here.

    what is job corp

    Ok.

It's a place where the lowest of the low go to um "improve their lives and develop skilled trades."

Most of the um, "participants" have two choices

Judge - "Job core or straight to prison"

    Or

Judge - "Part of your probation REQUIREMENT means you MUST attended and complete job core to remain free"

So these guys and girl's are NOT there because they want to be, they just have no other choice.

Meanwhile once there your movement is surveilled and your movements are severely restricted. Can't go further than a certain distance from the site. Strict rigid curfews , inside the facility your movements and freedoms are very restricted.

You need special permission to actually leave and its very limited at best.
Also they're usually set up in the middle of f***ing nowhere or in low key towns so the chances of escape are slim to none.
The criminals either fail or just become waste men after they "complete it"

You will constantly be "tried" in order to fight, people steal etc.

    Absolute s***hole

how comes some people decide to go there

Because sometimes, no millions of people are stuck in limbo or between a rock and a hard place. They want to move up and get a trade but cannot afford to leave the work force.

So their only choice is job corp

If you're a regular law abiding citizen...you can actually do well and score a trade in the end.

However very very very few regular citizens attend because everyone knows the population is mostly criminals, some violent gang members.
