Midrick and his fans really became what they been fighting against...

    Sold themselves out like hoes

When it all came down to it... they didnt stay true to themselves. Neither him or his nerd fans.

We will dissect and revisit all of this as time passes. More will be revealed.

    Drake beat Pusha lyrically too.

Both these clowns had to resort to gimmicks to win their beefs.

Impressive how you managed to become the most annoying person on here

legit boggles my mind how some people listen to some of the lines on drakes disses like "the way you doing splits b**** yo pants might rip" and think
    he outbarred kendrick

Yeah I thought we understood this? Drake had the best diss lyrically with FM

Kendrick dog walked him in strategy & diversity of records

Kendrick didn’t really rap battle Drake tho, in the sense of he rarely ever responded to Drake bar to bar but instead he created a whole narration & story within the beef that was creative af. The whole “have you ever” scheme throughout the tracks was master class

Duppy and Family Matters are both boring, empty calorie diss tracks that Drake stans have to convince themselves are "lyrical" because they don't have memorable hooks or disses that stuck and they ultimately flopped in the eyes of the public for those reasons.

I mean, yeah, Drake showed he could get out a rhyming dictionary and string some words together, but neither of those songs had a single line that kept Pusha T or Kendrick up at night, which is what ultimately matters in a beef. You could call either track "impressive," if you lower the bar enough, but they were ultimately impotent.

euphoria not lyrical at all nor didn't address the whitney bar in the first 20 seconds of said song.

    big brain takes.

The best quality of Euphoria is the set up & execution

Lyrically it was a great execution of set up for the future diss tracks

I didn’t say he NEVER responded to Drake tho? I said RARELY especially in comparison to Drakes tracks

Which obviously it didn’t matter in the grand scheme of things

this just in: experiment626 discovers you can respond to bars without directly responding to them when you're that great of a lyricist ("why you trolling like a b****?" = responding to drake trolling ant and whitney )

( "tryna strike a chord and it's probably a minorrrr" = responding to drake bringing up his family and his children on fm and with the freeeee line )

2nd verse of NLU literally is a response to Taylor Made

Kendrick is never doing a drake/heart pt 6 track responding directly to accusations because as Drake finds out, playing defense doesn't sound good in beef. it never does.

that always cracks me up, I don't think people want to hear a defense track in a rap beef.

also you can respond to bars without directly responding to bars.

it's a good way to get under said opponent's skin while also not giving them the pleasure of giving whatever they said light.

Joe Budden even said, it sounded weird hearing Drake defend the women he was into on Family Matters (and it did sound weird.)

Kendrick beat him in all facets, lyrically, strategically, production wise, etc.

It's a big reason why The Heart Part 6 is so bad

He really broke everything down accusation by accusation and what he attacked Kendrick with was...silly.

  • Dec 22, 2024

people saying drake beat Kendrick lyrically in the beef when Kendrick even before said beef has shown for over 15 years he's a better lyricist than Drake is prime time kneepading.

Drake couldn't even be assed enough to do different styles within said beef like Kendrick did until it was too late.

but yeah, drake beat Kendrick lyrically dawg give it a rest lol.

bruh why respond so petty? grow up & talk normal

You don’t like what I said cool but the “this just in” stuff to start off your points makes me tune out immediately cause like why do all that Lmaoo

You stretching using the chord line from Kendrick because you know what I mean. The response to Drake bar for bar was lacking (Kendrick is a master rapper, I don’t doubt he could’ve responded in creative ways more directly) but again it didn’t matter to most clearly

Kendrick responded to Push-Ups on MTG/Euphoria
He responded to Family Matters on MTG/NLU

just because he didn’t give one long verse dedicated to playing defense sloppily like Drizzle did doesn’t mean he didn’t respond back to him

it just means your media literacy skills are dogshit and you should prob be listening to billboard hot 100 or some s***
