Jay Electronica + Joe Budden =
Joe Budden's R&B takes are usually trash but if you a real Frank fan you knew what the f*** he meant by "there was no drums on Blond"
Channel Orange is probably one of the greatest R&B albums we got in the last 20 years. Production (of mostly Pyramids but also that album as a whole is god level) is 65% of the reason why that is.
Compared to that Blond is just...meh...not as varied. The production is very bare and in some cases, boring my g.

I’m gonna need you to respond to my answer my g.
Since 2000, yes. I'd put Channel Orange up there my g
Album was a snoozefest my g.
Had some joints on there though
man shut the f*** up
Ah u believe too
I mean but that’s the fans’ fault, not Jay Electronica’s. So why does he judge his music like it has to be on the level of those Hov albums? This is what i don’t understand about this argument. These are rap fans that are elevating him to this level, he was simply putting out music and delaying his album as he didn’t want to put it out.
He went as far as removing him for a Hov only version, but he’s not hating and “loves” him, right?
But he's not. He's mad cause he still hasnt been able to gauge Jay Electronica as a rapper because he doesn't have his own project yet my g.
He said it's hate but it's rapper hate. You don't get how as a rapper, it would be easy to envy a Jay Electronica?
20 YEARS?
Not like there been too many great R&B albums up til that point of this century tbh

There were R&B joints in the late 2000s better, which is my point.
Album was a snoozefest my g.

Channel Orange was a snooze fest but A Written Testimony production was dope my g?
Pass me that K2 you smoking so I can throw it away
