Aint the point being that once again another artist gets in their feelings about Joe Budden's opinion my g?

Joe never said (although I believe he has a shot I'm not saying it would be easy) on that podcast that he would wash the floor with him 'nahmean?

That's not Budden's idea. Budden's critique in that same episode was FANS putting Jay on the SAME PEDESTAL as a Hov or a Nas because of his songs that display him at his peak is unfair and unfounded my g.

THIS is why we want an album because an album shows the strengths (AND the weaknesses if a nigga got any) of an artist. You don't get Hov without the In My Lifetimes, The Magna Cartas, and the Blueprint Sequels.

Can you write a song? Can you write a hook? Can you construct a cohesive project that's 10-12 tracks long? Can you market yourself to multiple different crowds (because that's what made Hov...Hov. Hov had music for the underground, the commercial, the b****es, and the etc.)

So niggas like yall that put Jay Electronica up there with Hov? Yeah, people like Joe Budden are gonna deadass have an issue with that 'nahmean?

    this is music not basketball

ehhhh, considering it's a pattern that every artist after debating with Joe does get a buzz (e.g. kehlani, that valentine's day song picked up traffic after that pod where they made jokes about the song), that's arguable.

Budden is just too disrespectful for someone who’s music career was mid-trash. I want my journalist to be critical, but when your own music was lousy and then you say disrespectful s*** it just comes off lame af. You can be critical without the disrespect and he always crosses that line.

but that's why a lot of niggas (myself included) are underwhelmed with Jay's performance on the album

(and I do believe hov outshined him on most of the album my g)

you can't say that, and throw shots at other rappers that are delivering, and do countless features, only to come back with an album where you name drop louis farrakhan mad times 'nahmean?

selling out theaters n other venues as a podcast is wayyy harder than doing that as an musician lol

I don't know because most people who do podcasts are also some very popular comedians. They tend to sell out their shows often.

Also keep in mind podcasts have grown a lot in terms of popularity. Don't be surprised to see a dude like Joe Rogan selling out theaters if he were to start going on a podcast tour.

I've been a Budden fan for years. He's one of my favorite rappers ever, and I'm on the record here and on KTT1 saying so lol.

He just sounds like a hater here. Still love his music. I think if they sparred it would be a tie. Cuz he's lit up ppl like Ransom, 50 and Saigon.

Yea but you’re downplaying that’s podcast industry really just now starting to kick off. Live shows for a podcast was unheard of 3-5 years ago. It’s an emerging industry which Joe’s podcast has undoubtedly helped push forward.
