Its as if they dont want the show to get the attention it deserves in the moment. I watched the OVA then jumped to stone ocean halfway, went to part 4, finished that, then finished stone ocean, currently working thru diamond is unbreakable and watching steel ball run as it releases. I feel like people who see this first will WANT to see more of the show to get the references if anything, unless they see comments calling them LARPER.

I dont remember any of the little beats in SBR to appreciate how much or how little they skipped over, but its kinda just what you get with these epic long arcs that get adapted a decade+ later (TYBW - Bleach)
