I think it was the white guy going crazy and snapping with violence but I mean yea it's the Joker . That's the popular origin for him
It's also like because it was so serious but films are allowed to be serioue withouy being masterpieces. The build up was intense but as soon as he put the make up on and s***, I thought there was that dark comic humour in it and it felt like the origin for comic book villain that it was
