I really fw the vision on this one. Was surprised that a lot of folks were harsh towards the film.

Also, another baffling move was not releasing this globally, as in, theater releases outside the US were done way later. That prolly hurt the box office

I’ve come to accept that people will trash peele anytime he doesn’t create a “social thriller” like get out. He cannot escape that pigeonhole

Peele always gets haters foaming at the mouth ready to bash his work. Just look at the first few pages of this thread.

They just want illmatic so they'll never acknowledge It Was Written

I think Peele is a very good director all of his movies so far look great. I think his writing can be a tad bit pretentious and doesn't quite hit the mark like it probably should.

NOPE is my favorite movie of his so far so hopefully he can keep improving to me.
