What variation of the band do you enjoy more?

Personally, love both. But I can't choose against my boy Ian Curtis so Joy Division.

joy division because Closer is a top 20 album of all time for me. but its pretty close overall

Also I think closer and UP are better than any New order studio album.

But new order has the better comp in their Substance

Closer, UP, and PCL are all top 20 oat for me so yeah this is very close for me too lol

joy division definitely more of an "albums band" but i think i'd take the top 5 new order songs over the top 5 joy division songs tbqh

IT'd be another close one. You start throwing in s*** like Warsaw and Love Will Tear Us Apart and JD competes very well

Btw Movement is underrated, listening rn and there's a lot of great moments on here that I used to dismiss as them trying to recreate the JD sound too much.

They are completely different bands.

Like Joy Division is post-punk and New Order is New Wave and more synthy.
