Kaluuya and Stanfield are probably the two greatest actors of our generation. Great movie.
Anyone justifying bills actions should take into consideration that the man himself was deeply affected. He tried to kill himself multiple times and finally did it. Theres no debate.

Tbh, that could be any young black man. That’s what the system does. Shouldn’t have done it but I feel sympathy a lil. But this movie just makes me angry but inspired. Thank God it was a good movie as well.

Black actors? That’s a hot take
Thought it was a good one. Crazy to see that footage of real Bill at the end and hear his view of his actions. Surprised

Encourage everyone to watch the extra interview with Lakeith, The Lucas Bros, and Lil Rel. Really great insight into the creation of the film

The fact the Judas killed himself later to the guilt but always said he had no guilt on interviews is hella sad

(Crazy that the Lucas bros helped write the story😭very random)
More than helped it was their idea. They are the ones who wrote the treatment and pitched Shaka on it

yeah on the one hand it's definitely a gut punch moment when you do see it at the end...at the same time ppl did LOOK older back then...almost feel like Trial of the Chicago 7's Hampton looked too young to really be influential or that powerful

i definitely understand that, Kelvin Harrison Jr would have honestly been great for a Fred fiilm if he gained more weight and they didn't give him that awful afro job lmao. seeing the end credits definitely hit but then you'd just associate the tragedy of age with death instead of the life he lived its not as impactful
