they demanded money since it was a ransomware attack, however, when i looked up the hacking groups “statement” from last august, they said their goal isn’t political, and doesn’t plan to target things like this
in their newest statement pertaining to this hack, they said their goal isn’t to create problems for society, and that they will now get their affiliates -
the conspiracy part in me thinks this could be either a foreign actor claiming to be the hacking group to avoid usa retaliation OR a government narrative to avoid panic
