why does it feel like this wasn't talked about that much? massive superstar dead and the discussion was already over within a few days

Yeah, Mac Miller who was never as mainstream and was years past his prime even got way more discussion when he died. Nipsey who never was mainstream at any point ever too.

Tbh even Future really didn't say anything and out here releasing a single called 'Life is Good' right after, when they did a collab album months prior

    Ooo

Bro. Justice was not as huge as you’re making him seem. Besides what else was there to talk about? Y’all wanted them to just start slandering his name?

i mean s*** even X had a big ass f***ing cult posting LLJ on every corner of the internet. you’d expect this to be in the same vein ESPECIALLY considering juice being a more respectable person and rapper

Keep in mind and this is gonna be cold to say and this isn't meant to be slander but he didn't have the emotional connection they did.

The culture loved Mac and Nipsey, alot of youth especially suburban youth loved X and Peep that's why Juice made a song for them.

Juice himself didn't have either he was a popular singer but didn't have a movement.

Nice guys finish last b X was polarizing but that leaves more to debate then "he was cool".

Most of the discussion on X post death was about whether people should celebrate his dying or his life.

thats kinda whats weird though. he was pretty much the successor to what XXX left behind so you’d expect him to catch the same fanbase but nah

even musicians dont really talk about juice anymore or rep him but he literally met everybody man had a song with Ellie Goulding

Yes? Here we go focusing on the dumbest smallest s*** in a post and missing the overall point in the post.

Mac's biggest album was from 2011. Did I say he was washed up and a nobody? No. Was he years past his career peak when he died? Yes.

Juice had just had his biggest hit and album barely 1 year ago when he died.

I mean nipsey had a big impact on his community and stuff and tends to get talked about in regards to that more so than just rap

The other 3 I feel like were talked about/are talked about evenly enough. I never listened to peep personally, but seemed like teenagers really liked the guy and talk about him

Only reason I could think is that Juice seemed to not really be known outside of the music as opposed to the other 3 where people mighta known more about their lives in general

Juice wasn’t bigger that’s why. He had songs on the radio. But x definitely had way more fans. And also the ways they passed their were different reactions

He was a popular up and coming rapper. But he wasn’t at a point where he was a household name or anything.

You honestly probably wouldn’t know him, or much about him, unless you’re young and follow new hip hop music.

My bad I thought you meant quality wise, yeah he left his mainstream sound years before
