    Juice wasn’t bigger than X

    Yes he was

X had a bigger cult base but overall Juice sold twice as much and had more mainstream appeal

Yeah that's why X went #1 directly following his death and was talked about for years after. Meanwhile Juice....

why does it feel like this wasn't talked about that much? massive superstar dead and the discussion was already over within a few days

Unfortunately OD’s ain’t as tragic as cold blooded murder. They had vigils for peep ,Mac and juice but for x and nip and other murdered artist, niggas whole cities come out marching .

Yall really think ktt, a site which didn't talk about Juice when he was alive, not talking about him now means anything. His death was literally front page on CNN, every trending topic on twitter was about him when he died, his monthly streams skyrocketed. The most popular song from Eminem's new album is a Juice feature. Y'all live in a ktt bubble and it shows.

And dont quote me on some bs I'll just block you

He was big but not sure I’d say “massive superstar”.

However this is sadly a symptom of the 24/7 news cycle. Human brain quickly gets so much news now it’s impossible to dwell on a story too long.

Literally part of the genius behind the Trump campaign (sadly once again). They churned our story after story so the previous negative story was sorta just forgotten about.

On ktt sure, what more is there to discuss anyway? His was a muscian, his music is still doing numbers that's all that matters.

Not exactly surprising, we need to get out of the culture of rap artists being junkies being considered cool tbh

Like I said X has a bigger cult fan base.... so yeah people on the internet (hardcore fans) are definitely gonna be talking about him more

But in real life more people bump Juice’s music than X’s

I think it’s just the fact that XXX had a bigger cult fanbase so hardcore music listeners on the internet ofc are gonna talk about him more

In real life I’ve heard more people play Juices music

    Young rapper dies on d****
Everyone: D**** in rap is outta control, something has to be done
Everyone goes back to bumping music glorifying that lifestyle and image in a few days

    Rinse and repeat

I feel like it's celebrity death fatigue at this point. We've lost so many young rappers the last couple years that I feel like as a whole we've become desensitized to it all.

  • Jan 22, 2020

    1. He was popular but he didn’t have a diehard fan base
    2. His death wasn’t bizarre enough (I know I’m gonna sound like a d*** but morbid curiosity is real)
    3. There was nothing to keep his name in the headlines after his death. With Mac there was all the Ariana gossip, with nip there was all the discussion about his contribution to his city, and we already know the resulting s***show of x’s death. Juice just doesn’t have that, and his family is very private

There’s wasn’t much to talk about tbh.

Like when x died the fact that we were left in the dark about what REALLY happened kept us talking about it but with JuiceWRLD is was p cut n dry

You can't #1 on a niche cult though, that takes a lot of plays.
