Really? I thought it was pretty spotty during parts of the fight. Art looked unfinished at points and hard to follow. I can see why the animators are mad

Incredible episode. Animation was v rough in places but got away with a stylized look bc of the scale of the battle. Praying these animators get a f***ing rest they are really putting in work.

I don't think I can name many better episodes besides the whole past season and attack season 4 assault on Marley tbh and that one chainsaw episode.. taking into account a lot of the emotional context in the scene as well. I also liked the abstract sort of expressionist renderings that's just me tho 🤷🏾‍♂️

It was hard to follow, but Sukuna fights at such a grand and fast pace that I think that alone aids in being able to overlook it. You got the gist that it was chaos and the aftermath brings it all home.
