Yes. That is how many people watch anime. There is absolutely no rush to finish this story. There are things to watch in the meantime.

Edit: I know if it's worth it based on the experience I have watching the season. If the season comes out and it's wack then I stop watching. Don't need the manga to tell me that.

To me a casual anime watcher is someone who doesn’t even know manga. So I was saying y’all were flexing knowing less because you know you could be caught up but choose not to, which is understandable. But us manga readers watching it will comment differently as well and are hiding spoilers for y’all but it should be understandable if we comment differently than y’all.

And I just know I’m not waiting 6 years to know what happens if I really enjoy a series but that’s just the manga reader in me I suppose. Do you not read manga at all?

It's only flexing knowing less in that we like to be surpised. Anime only vs manga readers have two different viewing experiences.

Manga readers know what to expect so the story isn't fresh to you, you're just waiting to see certain things animated. Hence always dropping little hints like 'Yeah anime onlies don't know how significant this is!"

Anime only never has any idea what's happening next so instead of waiting for Nanami to get clipped, it was genuinely a WTF moment to see happen. That shock and awe of seeing what's next and never knowing is why many choose not to read the manga and remain patient.

Neither is better than the other, but just like when OP had the original title as 'Lost a real one' I would rather not have even subtle hints thrown around to the future. But alas you type however you want but I appreciate those who use spoiler tags even for non-spoiler spoilers.

What I did is more of a spoiler than anyone here did. Hinting at a thing being important without any context isn’t a spoiler but I understand that ppl would appreciate it being spoiler tagged.

"Reading the source material" being perceived that way is hilarious considering anime is basically just cross promotional commercials for the manga.

It depends on who you ask, some old fans will call it the worst ending ever and dog walk the s*** out of it and say the author ruined their story in one chapter, or some will say it is still one of their favorite mangas even if the ending wasn’t what everyone thought it would be. AOT is polarizing off the ending alone, but everything before it was close to as good as you can get.

Sukuna is still in Megumis body. Kenjaku granted every reincarnated sorcerer a One Time Mahito Soul Manipulation to get their old body back. Thats what sukuna used. So technically its still Megumis body just changed. Sukuna used it as a instant heal since his healing went down after Gojo. Gege clarified that Yorozu to play her stupid game actively halted that at the head so she got her old body but kept the new face. Sadly Megumi tanked a full dosis of Unlimited Void so his brain is mush. The good news is we know that sorcerers and beings with high amount of Cursed Energy have good resistance to that so he might not be braindead for the rest of his life. Still doubt he will do something for the foreseeable future

No I mean the point with Yorozu was specifically confirmed by Gege after Sukuna transformed in ch.237\. The point that all reincarnated sorcerer suppress their original hosts soul and consciousness was established by Angel in chapter 199\. Sukuna was the only one that halted that reincarnation process specifically to gain a one time revive basically. As to how messed up megumis consciousness is from unlimited void, the transformation and losing everything he loved remains to be seen ofc.

It's not as bad as GOT. Anime onlies enjoyed it a lot more than manga readers. Manga readers got into a really bad 60/40 vocal hate or defend it split.

Japan audience seemed to enjoy it a lot more than western audience online

I thought they did this stylistically to show it was Sukuna instead of Yuji vs in season 1 being Yuji with cat marks.
