If I understand correctly, the "brain" needed Geto's body because his plan hinged on using Geto's technique to extract idle transfiguration and thus initiate the contracts he made centuries ago.
I'mma be honest; I'm a manga reader, but the writing around this plan, to me, always seemed convoluted as hell. Because there's no way he could've predicted all the factors that led to him ultimately pulling it off.
Right; I was thinking that if he just wanted to wreck the society, he could do so with any of the SGs
But if it needed to be THIS specifically, then yeah, he just got mad lucky lol (or had Aizen level planning)
Wait didnt the manga say the U.S. AND the Middle East wouldn't approve of Japan having a monopoly of cursed energy, but then the anime only said "that" superpower aka the U.S. and didn't mention Middle East? MBS fears ? 🧐
Man said “good characters die only for these ones to live” and went on to list some goats

This guy wants every character to have 20 chapters of flashbacks where they have the worst life ever and crying the whole time like it’s f***ing one piece. F*** outta here with that s***.

Higuruma is one of the few good culling game character that i like. his backstory was compelling to me and his fight with yuji was pretty creative and one of the best in this arc imo
what i dont like is characters like kashimo, charles, takaba, hakari (hes not exactly a culling game character per say but he hasnt done anything until this arc). they either fall in the category of: this character is just op for the sake of being op, 0 personality or an uninteresting backstory, or worse case scenario, useless gag character like takaba.
i have no issues with characters being killed off if its done right. but it sucks when a good written character is killed off only for people like the ones listed above to still live
You're just yapping for real

Well he's been around for a thousand years. We know that he tried many different methods over the centuries before he got to this plan. Of course his plan is gonna be convoluted

You proved Takaba right
Make your own

You're just yapping for real

It's why this goat manga is inspired by Bleach. Aizen levels of planning
Been hearing so much about this show, finally decided to check it out Only watched literally the first episode but like the guy above me is saying, heavy Bleach vibes. Like that episode is almost identical to the first episode of Bleach
nigga said takaba a goat yall got it
You get his back story, his motivation, his passion, his gripes with his journey as a comedian, and his comedy style all in an entertaining fight
What else you want from him?

Agree except I love Hakari for the same reasons you like Higuruma.
Your spoiled points make a tonne of sense, Gege had balanced that nicely up until Shibuya. But now I’m getting fatigued by the asspulls he’s using to subvert expectations. It feels incredibly rushed and he doesn’t give us any insight into how the characters felt after some key events.
Man is just doing battle after battle. It all made sense once I read he plans on ending it soon.

You mean how Takaba got all of that?! Have you read the manga??
And Higurama has an amazing character arc
Thr story is also ongoing man people not build for weekly sometimes they mad gege does not manage to progress the story of every single character he ever wrote in one 20 page chapter. Simultaneously they cry how Yuji is apperantly a sidecharacter
One Piece has 1000 chapters lmfao
Just imagine you guys watching Luffy fight Kaido for 2 straight years going: „man has Oda forgotten about Chopper?!? 🤬“

Kubo watching this figuring out all the ways he can make Ichigo part cursed spirit

Yeah the plan is ridiculous
Just the fact he needed Toji to kill the Star Platinum vessel, a user of the Idle Transfiguration and Cursed Spirit Manipulation.
I think we will see some more but I guess most of the plan just worked because Kenjaku has so much time. Its more like an coincidence that all those pieces fell into place in the 21st century
Agree except I love Hakari for the same reasons you like Higuruma.

It fits this arc, its all about battles. And is in his style, he did develop characters like Takaba, which is amazing.
