  • It takes a few reads to understand what tf is going on. It’s not explicitly told to you but you see little orbs leaving the bodies. But the jumping to conclusions will be funny after next chapter comes out lmao

Reread the chapter, we are communicating from the pathway of souls. Maru just figured out his technique. They said all souls pass that way. The three souls that are with Maru are closer to the soul realm since they are close to death. This isn’t rocket science but people are running a hate blitz and then will play dumb next chapter.

Exactly, you have to let a mangaka cook. If next chapter goes as the doom posters are predicting I’ll never talk on Gege again and admit he can’t do endings lol but this s*** is so obvious, this what people mean by reading chapters in a weekly format, some things aren’t going to hit until a few more chapters

Gege doesnt get enough credit for his worldbuilding. Genuinely impressive how it all ties together and is often beautifully symbolic.

As a megafan I always overanalysed this stuff.

This modulo chapter confirmed to me again that Gege literally thought of ALL that and its not just my fan schizophrenia

Yall don’t even know wtf happened and jumped to conclusions. The chapter did not state anything happened. This is a lot of visual storytelling which in next chapter will make sense. The latter half of the chapter is set up for next. The first halve was the conclusion pertaining to last chapter’s cliffhanger. Everyone is mad at the latter half and don’t even know wtf really happened. So wait next chapter before you accuse s*** of anything.

This chapter is great, and if next chapter can explain what is exactly going on with Maru’s technique then this chapter will just be one of those gems that was at first lost in confusion.

Besides the great thematic beats in this chapter.

So you’re telling me when gonna be back scrapping next chapter?

And we will surely be getting the Yuji Dabura fight too?

I thought this whole s*** was 2 chapters from ending

Everyone accepted Yuji and Dabura wasn’t happening in the fandom a few chapters ago (no one cared and thought it made sense) so you are of an old belief. That was clearly not happening as of chapter 20. Are you only focused on fighting? The story is the appeal lol we just want to make sure the story wraps up fine.

The main issues of the chapter for people is the thought that everyone just got revived due to unknown ct deux ex machina, and the way Dabura and raga’s fight ended. That’s literally the only things.

But as I said, Maru is in the pathway of souls. Yuka’s cancer isn’t just going to just evaporate and cross isn’t just going to be okay and in fresh new pair of clothes right out of the hospital bed.that’s most likely not their physical bodies.

And we don’t know wtf may happen due to the ritual, plus I doubt Yuji is just going to live 300 f\*\*\*ing more years without something happening to him. There’s still Iori. Everything can be closed up fine, but you yourself are in here doubting when the story has been spectacular for 22 chapters straight. So it should be fair to give it a chapter of grace to set up the end

  • No fights had to happen in the last three chapters for Modulo to be great, it was just how you conclude this large plot point without adding new details which breaks the story. We had enough hype and aura, and were just waiting for a plot twist or something thematically perfect. But watch as next chapter just shows some of you probably shouldn’t talk on JJK

Hyping up the yuji dabura fight was deliberately misleading by Gege. We simply assumed that because of the roles both characters have in the world that it was inevitable. When really it was the political situation of Japan and Simurian traditions that caused the battle.

The real people Yuji and dabura (and yuka if it wasnt for the tumor) shouldve never been fighting in the first place. Modulo makes the extremely clear that this fight is stupid and it shows yujis maturity as a 80 year old chad sorcerer to not partake in this s***.

Perfectly stated. Damn you actually a***yze and read the story, I’m surprised someone like you is on KTT lol

And people are being bratty about Dabura because they wanted Raga to be destroyed, but don’t understand that just meant Yuka flat out dies. Once he understood that Maru had everything covered and was given the black rope, he and his sister had no reason to stay. The entire point was that Maru this time threw away his warriorhood while Dabura claimed his. It’s a juxtaposition to their first encounter and shows that Maru and Dabura finally have an understanding on what it means to be a warrior to fight for others, and to care for others that you don’t want to be harmed

Modulo isn’t about hype or aura. Unfortunately you have people who only care about spoonfed writing and fights. I know Gege will handle the potential last two chapters well. What I’m not in the mood for though is the discourse this week that sprung from leaks, and now carried over to the release. Idiots went on rants just from picture leaks alone and have no idea what is happening.
