Honestly gojos death this way didnt face me at all. It was what we all kinda knew would have to happen since even before the fight. The fight itself was amazing tho.
gojo dying (or simply getting wrecked beyond repair) was pretty much a given. Every manga reader could see that narratively that was the ONLY way for the story to move forward
However, Gojo saying that he always knew he could never have beaten Sukuna is some bs, because 1\. it contradicts his character (the whole "I'll win" bravado), and 2\. We the audience *saw* how Sukuna without TS and Mahoraga would lose. So? What's the point of reducing him to some pathetic mf. Just have him die with pride.
kashimo getting packed next
Im growing a bit tired of sukuna tbh. Mans been the main character for 30 chapters at this point. Like come on bro lemme see the other people like Yuji

it would make zero sense not having all the other characters intervene at this point
The more I think about this chapter the worse it seems. What was the point of Gojo getting unsealed? Just to have a cool fight and not accomplish anything narratively? Not even a Kenjaku confrontation smh. Might as well have died in the prison realm

This also goes against who we thought was the pinnacle of strength in this universe

I'm going to wait for an official translation, but if these translations are accurate, the conversation Gojo has with his dead friends was just bad writing. Such a weird conclusion to his character.
I guess gege really must hate him
and so the coping begins lol
already seen mfs say gojo's not dead bc his brain is still intact
THEY DOUBTED MY GOAT
THEY CALLED HIM THE WEAKEST VILLAIN IN ANIME HISTORY
AND NOW HE GOT FRAUDJO TURNED INTO SALAMI
IF THAT FRAUD COMES BACK WE DOING IT AGAIN
Might be the craziest leaks i've seen ever, i have never seen for real such an impactful event such as this in manga/anime for a good while
And honestly not even gonna lie i actually liked the offscreen death, the whole conversation and gave Kashimo what i think is one the coldest entrances ever || im actually more hyped than ever for this series, dont see it as || bad writing at all

Kashimo was waiting for this 🔥🔥🔥

He literally might get packed in 1 chapter but i just KNOW he about to go crazy with his CT, people dont see the vision and amount of possibilities now

In the last page you can see that sukuna still hasnt healed himself at all. While Kashimo clearly lacks protection he makes up for that in insane offensive abilities. Not saying he will beat sukuna ofc but he could now that sukuna lacks his rct do incredible damage to him

When people say bad writing, it's referring to how Gege wrote Gojo's sendoff. It was obvious he was getting packed.
I feel bad for anime onlies cause now insufferable manga readers will flood everything with spoilers

I know and i liked how it was done thats why i said that, its not the first time Gege has done smth unorthodox and as for me i dont need anything else but i can see more explanations coming or when the actual thing happened in future chapters for fans to have a better understanding, remember this is a weekly thing, we dont see the whole picture at the end of the day

They already doing it under tweets with the anime previews smh

I was referring more to how Gojo said he NEVER stood a chance against Sukuna, even if he didn't have Ten Shadows or Mahoraga, which is complete nonsense. Why would Gojo ever think that?
Especially bc during their fight, Sukuna got visibly shaken / nervous a couple of times. Gege basically wrote that this whole time Gojo was a defeatist, pessimistic fraud who just pretended to be confident in his abilities ("I'll win!"). Like gahdam, if you're gonna pack him at least let the character retain some semblance of pride.
it’s not entirely possible to bring him back but i hope they don’t. Takaba could just come in save him but it would feel like an asspull. Yuta sneaking in with kashimo and using RCT also seems possible but idk. Also what’s interesting is that the death convo doesn’t have Nobara, i wonder how they bring her back tho

Oh ok i get your point, dont agree completely just cause i have a different pov about Gojo and his feelings so for me it was a great chapter but i understand, i said that cause most people complain is his offscreen death which is dumb because we literally SEE him die, an actual offscreen death is Naobito
