Nope absolutely not a spoiler I can assure you
Oh ok i get your point, dont agree completely just cause i have a different pov about Gojo and his feelings so for me it was a great chapter but i understand, i said that cause most people complain is his offscreen death which is dumb because we literally SEE him die, an actual offscreen death is Naobito
Yeah, I agree with you; him dying offscreen isn't a big deal at all. It was still super impactful. But yeah, the writing around his farewell wasn't satisfying at all for me personally, and I'm not even a big Gojo fan; it just seems to contradict what was already established about this character.

I have given this some thought and why I think its very underrated already and actually fits his character. Obviously this could all be wrong because of translation.
However most of my a\*\*\*ysis is something we know already. Gojo hates the old jujutsu society because it robbed him of his youth and being the strongest secluded him from his best friend and the world. Thats why to solve this he selected and protected his students so that they would as the new generation correct the flaws of this society.
In this chapter he was given the choice to go south and die peacefully as his own person like nanami did. Stay in the afterlife with everybody. However he chose to say goodbye to them at the airport. He went north as nanami said... become a new person. In other words reincarnation. But this is perfect. It shows his complete trust for his students that in his next life he will live in the new world they will have created inspired by him. He will be able to once again live but this time as a person and not solely defined by being the strongest. Sukuna stripped him at his deathbed of this burden. Now its time for him to be born anew and be who he really is

it can also be said that its obvious gojo imagined his peers as they looked like in their youth. in other words when hidden inventory happened and he became the strongest his life as a person ended. gojo always expressed his desire to protect the youth of his students because jujutsu society never let him. It makes so much sense that this is how his afterlife looks to him

That's great, actually. And it makes sense character-wise. But it *still* doesn't necessitate Gojo saying he couldn't have beaten Sukuna in any way, shape, or form. Because Gege clearly showed us otherwise. He's BEEN showing us otherwise. It would have been one thing if Gege had Gojo pull all his tricks without denting Sukuna. But that wasn't the case. Like, this mf didn't even have TS back in the Heian era. That specific element is what is inconsistent.
this mf gojo randomly mentioning his father who never came up before, yall better prepare for the craziest asspull yet
Also this manga became so ass lmao
Also this is Gojo admitting that he was carried by limitless as well, so in his brain he saw how easily Sukuna used the 10 shadows technique that yea, he would of found a way even without it
Limitless is his technique tho wtf. Thats like saying Messi is carried by his left foot.
gojo dying (or simply getting wrecked beyond repair) was pretty much a given. Every manga reader could see that narratively that was the ONLY way for the story to move forward
However, Gojo saying that he always knew he could never have beaten Sukuna is some bs, because 1\. it contradicts his character (the whole "I'll win" bravado), and 2\. We the audience *saw* how Sukuna without TS and Mahoraga would lose. So? What's the point of reducing him to some pathetic mf. Just have him die with pride.

agreed

Sukuna was holding back because he needed to conserve power for the ones that followed Gojo, this was explicitly stated a couple chapters ago. That's why Gojo can go all out against Sukuna while Sukuna can't do the same. It was a big advantage that he had in the fight

Holding back? He nearly got obliterated. Also, Sukuna *needed* Ten Shadows and Mahoraga for his win. He only won because of Mahoraga. So, how can Gojo say he wouldn't stand a chance against Heian Sukuna?? Make it make sense.
And again.. his killer would NOT have been possible without Mahoraga
idc what anyone says gojo should've been in the afterlife talking all kinds of s\*\*\*. "geto you know he had to steal 10S to even have a chance against me right? without that he wouldn't have been able to scratch me. that's sad for the king of curses"

This fits with his character 100%

Still, Sukuna didn't use his full arsenal because he knew he had to fight everyone else after Gojo is down. We'll probably find out what he was hiding in these future fights

what arsenal? He would never bypass infinity without mahoraga. But that's besides the point. Sukuna HAD to win. That I 100% agree with you. But Gojo's lil monologue at his end made no sense from his Gojo's own POV. Gege fumbled there (assuming the translations are accurate ofc)
