except all these kids are half as strong as him and should be getting chopped in half in milliseconds. It’s over bro. JJK will be the first manga where all the protags die and the villains sail off into the sunset
Just make them happy
its all I ask
Yeah, this is good and all, but honestly, I would have liked to see a more balanced reaction from Gojo—in the "afterlife," he keeps on praising Sukuna, and he goes on about how he "wanted to reach him", but he doesn't even acknowledge the suffering Sukuna has caused Megumi (making his soul take severe hits, killing his sister, and sending him to a pit of despair). Like, this mf has ruined the life of a kid who is essentially your adoptive son, and all you can do is say "I had fun" and praise your opponent.
but the first thing on his mind in the afterlife is megumi and him missing out on telling megumi about his dad. Then he remembers he told shoko to that. Reaffirming that its also cared for and that he is sure megumi will be freed.

yeah I know. I still feel like he should show more contempt towards Sukuna (instead of just glazing him), cause you know, he's the one who's been torturing Megumi

hmm maybe but I dont think thats really Gojo. When he has his enlightenment moment he also personally said that at the moment he was happy despite rikos death. He appreciates when he can go all out and loses himself in the moment. I think that makes sense cause when gave this god given power and you never get to use it then youll be glad when somebody comes around to challenge you. Except this time he got his ass handed to him but that still doesnt make his feelings invalid.

ooh actually that's a great callback - Riko's death. Good point.

Gojo is definitely a complex character. Is it fair to boil it down to this? Gojo is: a) a tragic character because of how isolated he is, despite his godlike power; b) like you've said, someone who greatly enjoys a challenge and who often displays cockiness; c) someone not as moved by the tragedies of others (?) Because sure, he did take in those kids, and he did have a noble goal, but ultimately, like when Riko died, he isn't really capable of displaying extreme or vindictive feelings on behalf of others. When he killed Geto, someone he loved, he wasn't overtly emotional. Even Geto said, "At least throw some curses at my end". But at the same time, we've seen Geto bring strong emotions out of Gojo—like when Gojo wakes up teary-eyed after reminiscing about Hidden Inventory. This is already a long post, but I feel like I could go on and on.
no one mentioning Toni being in gojo’s afterlife hallucination?
gojo’s death is super upsetting but rereading the chapter his conversation with all of his dead friends is actually pretty sad. I do want to huff the copium however bc this s\*\*\* hurts

They have Takaba, so really they can’t lose because you can’t beat him. His CT is the strongest in the manga.

Ppl forgot unsurprisingly but a comedian doing a joke that could end Sukuna is nasty work

I can imagine a deadly alliance duo between Kenjaku and Sukuna to try beating him, and at the end of the fight it goes “Takaba realized his CT and it no longer was effective” and then dying. Before that though, he is just piecing them up and they can’t even hurt him. There has to be a reason he’s not there with everyone, he’s about to wreck s\*\*\* lmao

I would be very suprised if Takaba actually ever even fights. The condition of his CT is having no clue that he has one so him just jumping Sukuna and standing a chance would be kinda weird. However I do think its very likely that he without anybody in the story even realizing will somehow mess Kenjakus plan up. He already did that in someway since his sheer presence was enough to save Angel who then could go on to free Gojo.
still not over this panel from the fight
nah bro gojo was just gaslighting himself he actually always knew he was weaker and would lose

Takaba already fought once, and the good guys are going to get bodied to be honest. I expect him intervening, he just has a rule for himself not to kill so he may just hold off whoever
