Yuji probably willing to die to kill Sukuna out of guilt. Higurama wanted to turn himself in for killing those judges. Both think they have to set a wrong right it makes alot of sense they go now. Maki said Yuta was their assurance. Makes sense theyll try to bring his HP down as low as possible and use him as their final ace

I dont think theyre greedy after the title. I think that being able to do whatever you want just makes you kinda empty. Like Geto said. If Gojo wanted to kill all humans he couldve done that. So they look for a mutual and think thats obviously the strongest sorcerer of all times. Thats why I think Gojo raised students to fulfill his life by setting himself a goal he cant do by just using his CT and was also happy when fighting sukuna
