how is a Kenny chapter super bad especially when it shows Takaba is his opponent? It’s definitely a chill chapter after the past 16 chapters but it makes sense. I can understand feeling blue balled about the Yuji and higgy stuff though but that’s just Gege being good at creating such hype things that you get bummed at shifts lol

What I really really need to know is did Kenny just say that Gojo has such a nice face after his death??? Does anyone get the idea he really might try to take his body?

I feel it’s a really great match up because Takaba has no death flags so him fighting brings that suspense of what will happen each week back because in reality Kenjaku has to win, this was a slow start but I can see this becoming a top tier fight with a crazy ending. As long as Gege gives it as much care as other fights because these are two powerhouses and Takaba is ACTUALLY in contention for the strongest based on CT alone

I feel one body hop will happen before the story concludes. His technique needs to be explained and I could see him almost losing here and taking some drastic measures to switch bodies. He mentions Yuta’s name so much that I thought he would take his as a twist, since cursed manipulation and copy have similar resourcefulness in a way. But then I remember in an interview they asked could Kenjaku ever take Gojo’s body and Gege said it was impossible because he couldn’t be killed…which has now happened lol

But I get the sense the reason for the switch was because Higgy and Takaba both are the best awakened fighters so setting their fights up at the same time for their shine makes sense to Gege.

Nothing is inherently wrong with love when humanizing the villains or used as a theme, as long as it’s done right and not used as some asspull IE: power of friendship.
