What in the hell do people want? Real life action for animation or something? Not one scene was bad lol this is arguably one of the best animated fights in the past decade with on the mark art work and smooth animation. It reminds me of the Kakashi vs Obito fight for a sense of level of quality

I'll take that back, today's episode was gas.

But I hate the inconsistencies.

Season 1 (to me) was f***ing flawless throughout.

off of the first half alone I dont see how this isn't the best episode in the series

we legit only had one mid episode this entire season. everything has been phenomenal , especially the highs

I get what you mean to some extent if comparing but both are great. Season 1’s animation was consistently better even for lower priority episodes. I think it was a production problem as ridiculous as that sounds since this is their biggest flagship anime. They have high priority episodes though which looks as good or even better than any season 1 episode such as this one which was literally movie quality. If we can get this for the Dagon, Mahito, Sukuna vs Jogo, and Mahoraga fights then I would say they delivered in the end.

But this episode was amazing and I thought you said what you said after watching it I was like nah son lol

I wouldn’t even call it mid but like not JJK standards. If you watch for plain enjoyment every episode was good. People are just upset because the choreography wasn’t gripping every single time but they are conserving their budget and time for the big fights. I just hope the Dagon fight is considered big for them since I think next episode jumps right into it

Oh no, this s*** was f***ing insane.

I was hesitant a bit on how hard they would go but they went the hell in. They did the manga justice and elevated the source material for the manga that deserves it. If the next episodes all goes hard then I bet any inconsistencies you felt it had will be forgiven. Trust in Mappa lol

feel like manga readers (me included) have the tendency to nitpick and only focus on every frame of animation because they already know the story. Especially shibuya I probably know every panel lmao.

Also season 1 had a) worse fights (people just didnt care about how the kyoto exchange event fights looked) and b) alot less fights overall. You probably forgot all the times/ ignored them were the animation was just allowed to be mid lol

When Choso steps into the bathroom and its just the narrator, that dope f***ing music and yuji and choso preparing the fight

that was one of the greatest things I've seen. This year, only king/zoro and Luffy/kaido had me close to this feeling

Best fight of the year, best anime of the year, and this season potentially has 3 to 4 others fights that rival it all coming one after the other lol the Gojo vs disaster curses was always the appetizer of Shibuya.

I saw the craziest theory with hints leading to it and ask Gege that he does it lol if it happens in the upcoming chapters I’ll point it out. But like I said so and so is not beating so and so. At least not without something happening in my opinion.
