This just shows you have NO IDEA what your saying LMAO

I never said LeBron wasn’t a pass first player

But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about points

You fail to realize both of those things can be true at the same time

That’s not what I said whatsoever

I’m obviously talking about for artists you f***ing idiot

Most major artists don’t do interviews or rely on interviews to promote their new albums because it doesn’t do much for them and they often get misquoted more than anything else

You gotta describe a major artist cause most artists do interviews

I understand that, but I’m not wrong about things I’m knowledgeable about. I’ve been following the game of basketball and LeBron’s career my entire life. I can understand that players can be pass first/unselfish while still wholly caring about points

You gotta describe a major artist cause most artists do interviews

Beyonce rarely does interviews, Jay never does interviews, The Weeknd didn’t do interviews for the majority of his career, Rihanna only does interviews nowadays to promote her other ventures, etc.

When you reach a certain level of stardom, interviews are not as important for promotion

He has numerous lyrics about numbers and statistics and it’s clearly a driving factor for him, you’re being purposefully obtuse

Saying Drake doesn’t chase numbers is like saying LeBron James doesn’t care about points

Drake has always rapped about numbers/being successful. It's stupid for you to suggest that he's especially chasing numbers now because his albums are 20+ tracks and because he makes commercially-accessible music (something he has ALWAYS done).

There's a lot more Drake could have done to boost his numbers if he cared. The guy doesn't do radio deals/doesn't use bundles/doesn't release remixes or any of the other s*** other artists do to boost their numbers. He rarely ever drops music videos for his s***. He just drops the music and keeps it moving but according to you, that's reflective of him chasing hits/numbers.

I have to say, you've really been on a roll with the dumb takes lately.

Please learn how to read because I’ve already explained multiple times ITT I’m talking about his approach to making music and not his overall rollout strategy

But for the last two points, you don’t need a deluxe if your album is already 20+ tracks, and interviews are completely unnecessary in 2023 if you’re already a major artist.

Anyone with ears can clearly hear the difference in Drake’s career.

Drake from 2009-2015 was an artist trying to prove himself in the hip hop world and also solidify himself as a household name.

Drake from 2016-2021 is an artist trying to be the #1 hitmaker on the planet

So he chased hits and numbers for views scorpion and clb and then he stopped doing that according to you. Whats the issue?

Drake fans are on here complaining about how little he does to push/promote his music post-Scorpion era and some clown really thinks that's when he ramped him his quest to chase hits and numbers

I’ve said multiple times now I’m talking about his approach to making music, not his rollout strategies

And that point is very stupid because Drake's first mainstream single was Best I Ever Had, one of the most accessible rap singles of all time. Your point is f***ing dumb.

His approach has never changed. Instead of you to simply say that, you went on some silly rant acting like the Drake from 2009-2015 was some indie/underground rapper with zero hits to name and then in 2016 he automatically changed and started fishing for hits.

NEWSFLASH, the Canadian artist who did that is THE WEEKND, not Drake. Drake has ALWAYS scored hits and his approach has remained the same. He had never fished for hits because he's never had to.
