Do I wanna watch the 2017 season or should I skip it?
The first 2 seasons immediately became my all-time favorite show so I don't wanna ruin it for myself a lá Legend of Korra

I cannot stress this enough, the 2017 series is the best season of Twin Peaks ever

Skip. Season 3 got trashed by critics and audience alike. It's just David Lynch being self-indulgent for 18 dreadful hours and Showtime obliging because they were desperate for a hit show. Netflix took another punt on Lynch with Wisteria, but they were smart and canned it before too many costs were made.

That and the movie aren't spin off material its essential if you actually care about the story
