The first 2 seasons immediately became my all-time favorite show so I don't wanna ruin it for myself a lá Legend of KorraWatch Fire Walk With Me (and Missing Pieces if you can but it’s not necessary) and then dive into Season 3

DannySkip. Season 3 got trashed by critics and audience alike. It's just David Lynch being self-indulgent for 18 dreadful hours and Showtime obliging because they were desperate for a hit show. Netflix took another punt on Lynch with Wisteria, but they were smart and canned it before too many costs were made.

Fire Walk With Me gets way more abstract than the OG Twin Peaks ever was, and The Return ups it by a 10000000
It's perfect to me and many others but if you liked TP mainly for the quirks and the comforting vibes it gave off then good luck
Also, The Return is literally one of the most acclaimed shows out there

I consider it to be Lynch masterpiece in terms of features together with Mulholland Dr

Go in with an open mind.. it's very different and not welcoming at all but once you a few episodes in and are used to this new feeling in the TP world you are gonna LOVE IT
On letterboxd my whole friend list all gave it perfect 5/5 ratings, i have yet to find another thing on that app that does the same
